This day,that year- Nov 4

Today is the birthday of aspiring future businessman. He was born on nov 4,1987. Got who is it?
No?
Well, let us see what he tells about himself:
Ohk!!.. Here I am. Once again.. trying to first figure out what I am and then to let you know. This is the hardest part of life.. absolutely.. atleast for me.. it is..

I guess I am just another soul on the planet Earth trying to find the purpose of my existence… Sounds poetic…huh?! Yeah.. but true to some extent…I am the most unpredictable person you’ll ever encounter.. just like our Met Dept. with the weather forecasts.. you will find it hard to believe anything that comes from me.. see.. I am myself sayin’ that.. ahan..!! abhi pata chala.. I am honest too.. :P cool.. but some people really think that I am weird.. I don't know why they give me this title but I actually feel nice to stand out in the crowd by being weird... most people aren't weird.. so that's one distinguishing factor.. I like it.. ;)

Guess who is it?
Still not.

Well,it is the birthday of our famous Bombay Blogger Saad Shaikh.

I thought of drawing a caricature of him.But changed my mind and drew a portrait. I feel it doesn't look exactly like him.But anything is a try.(seriya varayalengrathukku ipdi oru bit ah...is this way of justifying your bad drawing eh?)

On October 10,1967, The Outer Space Treaty, formally known as the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies entered into force.

The Outer Space Treaty represents the basic legal framework of international space law. Among its principles, it bars States Parties to the Treaty from placing nuclear weapons or any other weapons of mass destruction in orbit of Earth, installing them on the Moon or any other celestial body, or to otherwise station them in outer space. It exclusively limits the use of the Moon and other celestial bodies to peaceful purposes and expressly prohibits their use for testing weapons of any kind, conducting military maneuvers, or establishing military bases, installations, and fortifications

ERNESTO CHE GUEVARA
14th  June 1928 - 9th October 1967

Later that morning on October 9, Bolivian President René Barrientos ordered that Guevara be killed. The executioner was Mario Terán, a half-drunken sergeant in the Bolivian army who had requested to shoot Che  To make the bullet wounds appear consistent with the story the government planned to release to the public, Félix Rodríguez ordered Terán to aim carefully to make it appear that Guevara had been killed in action during a clash with the Bolivian army.
Moments before Guevara was executed he was asked if he was thinking about his own immortality. "No", he replied, "I'm thinking about the immortality of the revolution." Che Guevara then told his executioner, "I know you've come to kill me. Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man."Terán hesitated, then opened fire with his semiautomatic rifle, hitting Guevara in the arms and legs. Guevara writhed on the ground, apparently biting one of his wrists to avoid crying out. Terán then fired several times again, wounding him fatally in the chest at 1:10 pm, according to Rodríguez. In all Guevara was shot nine times. This included five times in the legs, once in the right shoulder and arm, once in the chest, and finally in the throat.

No more words!RIP CHE!:((

The War in Afghanistan, which began on October 7, 2001 as the U.S. military's Operation Enduring Freedom and the British military's Operation Herrick, was launched in response to the September 11 attacks.
The stated aim of the invasion was to find Osama bin Laden and other high-ranking Al-Qaeda members and put them on trial, to destroy the whole organization of Al-Qaeda, and to remove the Taliban regime which supported and gave safe harbor to Al-Qaeda. The United States' Bush Doctrine stated that, as policy, it would not distinguish between terrorist organisations and nations or governments that harbor them.

On October 6, 1945, Billy SIanis (Chicago cubs fan) bought two tickets worth $7.20. One of the tickets was for him; the other one was for his goat. Sianis and his goat watched the game from their seats until the seventh inning. It was then that security personnel told Sianis that he and his goat had to leave, due to complaints about the goat's objectionable odor.

Sianis, according to believers of the curse, was enraged that such action was taken against him and his goat, and he then cursed the team. The exact nature of the curse differs in various accounts of the incident. Some state that Sianis declared that no World Series games would ever again be played at Wrigley Field, while others believe that his ban was on the Cubs appearing in the World Series, making no mention of a specific venue. Sianis's family maintains that he sent a telegram to Philip K. Wrigley(cubs owner), which read, "You are going to lose this World Series and you are never going to win another World Series again. You are never going to win a World Series again because you insulted my goat."

Believe it or not,Chicago Cubs never won a world series after this curse(till now). And they win a match every time a sianis family member is present with a goat.Isn't this funny?? :D

5th October 1789 - March on Versailles:
on 5 October 1789,as many as 7,000 women joined the march to Versailles, bringing with them pieces of cannon and a variety of smaller weapons.Twenty thousand National Guardsmen under the command of La Fayette responded to keep order, and members of the mob stormed the palace, killing several guards. La Fayette ultimately convinced the king to accede to the demand of the crowd that the monarchy relocate to Paris.
On 6 October 1789, the King Louis XVI(on throne,in the cartoon above) and the royal family moved from Versailles to Paris under the protection of the National Guards, thus legitimizing the National Assembly.

The Women's March on Versailles was one of the turning points of the French Revolution; it showed that the peasants of the Third Estate were a force to be reckoned with.
This march also showed that women could be a driving force in history.
