This Day,That Year - 4 oct

I'm starting another new section.I'm running out of ideas and for me,only thing that satisfies me and makes me to draw is these ideas nagging my mind. So,this section will cover cartoons that had happened this day but in the past.

News:Sputnik 1 was the first Earth-orbiting artificial satellite. It was launched by the Soviet Union on 4 October 1957. The unanticipated announcement of Sputnik 1's success precipitated the Sputnik crisis in the United States and ignited the Space Race within the Cold War (Source:wiki).

i think people might have missed the humor. How about adding Point Of View cartoons along with these two? POV of soviet and then POV of USA. In that way your blog audience would understand what the Sputnik is saying to the US.(or should i say 'showing' :D )

I am a little late but it's nice to know Sputnik was launched on Oct 4 :)

Next year same day say Kasabiangirl was born on Oct 4, 1987(it was a dark stormy day, people were rushing to get back home, trees were falling, leaves rustling, kids crying...hehe)

I am checking out your drawings after a long time...Sorry for missing always and commenting late :)
